The Club at Briarcliff Manor Celebrates First Anniversary of its Advisory Board

Westchester’s ‘Movers and Shakers’ Provide The Club With Valuable Insight on Key Issues Affecting Area Seniors

June 15, 2010 - PRLog -- BRIARCLIFF MANOR, NY – The Club at Briarcliff Manor, a new $350 million fee-for-service Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) under development in Briarcliff Manor, recently celebrated another milestone with the first anniversary of its Advisory Board.

The Advisory Board is comprised of leaders from Westchester in business, education, the arts, health care and senior services who provide their expertise and insight to The Club’s development team as it moves forward with this major retirement community.

The Advisory Board plays an important role as we move ahead with the development of this project,” said Matt Phillips, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Development Group, which is developing The Club at Briarcliff Manor in partnership with the National Electrical Benefit Fund (NEBF), a Washington D.C. based pension fund with over $10 billion in assets.

The Club recently celebrated the first anniversary of the Advisory Board with a dinner meeting at Restaurant 42 in White Plains where executives from IDG provided an update on the progress of the project and heard from board members on a range of topics.

The Club at Briarcliff Manor will feature 325 Independent Living residences, world-class amenities and services and a 60-unit Supportive Living Center where a licensed and professional staff will provide assisted living, memory support and skilled nursing care on-site 24 hours a day. The community is comprised of an upper and a lower village complemented by the Clubhouse; Aquatics, Spa and Fitness Center; tennis courts; walking paths; beautifully landscaped grounds and a pond.
