Add More Boom to Your 4th of July With Exploding Watermelons at AZ Science Center!

July 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Phoenix, AZ…  Nothing says summer and 4th of July like… exploding watermelons?  To celebrate the holiday weekend, Arizona Science Center is inviting guest to help make some daytime fireworks, and family fun.  Bring a whole watermelon to Arizona Science Center and they will make it explode!  Donated clean, 20 oz. plastic bottles are also appreciated, used with a combination of liquid nitrogen and dry ice to blow up our watermelons.

Offered Sunday, July 4 & Monday, July 5, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.  Free, with general admission and fun for the whole family!

In addition to exploding watermelons, the air-conditioned Center offers fun for the whole family to escape the heat and explore hands-on science fun!
