Shergroup High Court Enforcement launches new training academy

Shergroup High Court Enforcement Officer's agency now has its own training academy for staff and clients.

July 8, 2010 - PRLog -- Shergroup, the UK’s leading High Court enforcement agency, has strengthened its commitment to training by launching its own academy for staff and clients.

The Shergroup Academy will formalise the in-house training already provided for employees, including its own diplomas in credit management and debt collection which were created in alliance with the Institute of Credit Management.

Such training ensures the company follows guidelines set down by bodies such as the Office of Fair Trading and the Credit Services Association.

Shergroup Chief Executive Claire Sandbrook said: “I am a keen advocate of raising standards within the enforcement industry and have fought for improvement in legislation surrounding debt recovery.

“Through the Shergroup Academy, we are ensuring our officers have the best possible training available to them, and we’re showing that we practice what we preach when it comes to maintaining the highest standards we can.”

Courses provided by the Shergroup Academy will also be on offer to the company’s clients in order to provide them with added value. Director of Training Ken Southard said: “We wouldn’t survive without them so we want to give something back. We will provide bespoke courses at our headquarters in Essex, with a focus on the smaller ones who don’t have the budget for a training team.”

The Shergroup Academy aims to become accredited by a body such as the Institute of Credit Management.
