Golf 101 offers discounted hands-on golfing lessons

July 19, 2010 - PRLog -- Golf Season is here and Discount Golf Lessons has been providing low-cost golf training to new golfers with Golf 101 and Golf 102 and Advanced Golf to the more experienced for three years.

The low-cost of these lessons - $100 for six hours of hands-on lessons including golf clubs and all equipment and fees - is one reason for Golf 101’s popularity. Golf 101 includes putting, chipping, the driving range and video golf swing analysis in a small class of nine people. Another reason is the Golf 101 schedule flexibility. Students can choose three different two-hour classes to meet their schedule. Choices are Monday or Thursday evenings 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday afternoons 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Students can mix and match any date to customize their schedule. Golf 101 lessons are $150 at the golf course if any spaces remain.

The third incentive for many participants in Golf 101 and Golf 102 is Certified Golf Teaching Professional George Claffey. Claffey’s history of experience teaching new golfers, and his rare combination of patience and skill, finds a way to make the lessons both entertaining and effective in developing good golfing skills. He has been nominated for the United States Golf Teachers Federation TOP 100 Teachers from around the world.

Golf 101 has been featured in the Hartford Courant and Journal Inquirer. Over 100 students graduated from Golf 101 last season, and Golf 101 is on pace to double the number of graduates this year. Many Golf 101 students move on to Golf 102 – Scramble Tournament Playing Lessons which provides experience playing on the golf course on a team with other Golf 102 students.
