Elgia Player Experience Team Improving Employee Experience
 
Sept. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- ALPHARETTA, GA – Stemming from the company’s Employee Gladness Program, the newly formed Player Experience Team at Elgia, Inc. is already making waves through the company. This team, led by Operations Manager, Dan Purcell, is made up of front line employees and was formed to organize employee activities and to promote teamwork and camaraderie among the various departments in the company. For Elgia’s business of providing top quality remote customer experience, having happy employees is a must in order to have happy customers.

The Player Experience Team has organized activities such as Quarterly Awards programs and has held company wide competitions similar to those in the TV Show, “Minute to Win It”. The use of “Minute to Win It” games came from the unique challenge the company has due to the majority of employees being on phones. The challenges were given throughout the day and filmed so everybody could see how their peers performed. These games guaranteed a company-wide experience without everybody having to be together at one time.

“The Player Experience Team has been very successful so far here at Elgia,” said Dan Purcell. “The reception and feedback we have gotten from our employees has been tremendous and has shown us that this team is really making a difference. These activities really promote teamwork and provide a way for everybody to get to know each other. I have noticed an increase in employee interaction and teamwork. It really has been a wonderful morale booster and I am very excited to see what more we can do in the future.”
