Gotham PR, National AIDS Fund & We Dream the Cure Present ‘Forbidden Jungle’ at Touch NYC

Oct. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- The National AIDS Fund and We Dream the Cure are pleased to announce their joint 4th year Brazilian-themed fundraiser ‘Forbidden Jungle’ to take place at Touch in New York this Thursday, October 7, 2010. Guest host for this year’s corresponding Naughty Auction is the famed Murray Hill, with jungle-themed burlesque and musical performances by Angie Pontani, and Brazilian band Everyone Needs Sound. As each year, highly anticipated Naughty Auction items include coveted items such as Madonna and David Bowie original, signed prints by fashion photographer Herb Ritts, donated by his eponymous foundation. ‘Forbidden Jungle’ guests at Touch will receive a sumptuous dinner and all-night access to an open bar, special guest appearances, authentic Brazilian musical and dance performances, gift bags and more http://www.wedreamthecure.org/

Proceeds for the ‘Forbidden Jungle’ auction 2010 will go to the National AIDS Fund, which exists to leverage resources, develop leadership and advocacy, and foster community innovation to prevent new HIV infections and care for people living with HIV/AIDS. Through its unique expanding network of Community Partnerships and Challenge and Leadership grants program, NAF matches every dollar contributed nationally at the local level turning $1 into $3 in support services to underserved individuals and populations most impacted by HIV/AIDS including communities of color, youth and women.

We Dream the Cure, Inc. is a group of friends and professionals making a difference by using their creativity and to raise money to identify a cure to HIV. The team of volunteers includes photographers, magazine editors, art directors, designers, architects and event managers, all of whom have donated their time and talents to develop the annual fundraising events.
