Oct. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Where can you find world-class treatment, accommodating staff, options for fine dining, social lounge, flat screen televisions, a business center and premium décor? Not necessarily what you would expect from an unassuming street corner at a busy intersection in West Los Angeles. But enter the doors at 1616 Butler Avenue and that’s exactly what you'll encounter at The Village Recording Studios.

Established in 1968 in a 30,000 square foot former Masonic Temple turned state-of-the-art recording and scoring facility, The Village is a multi-story, multi-studio complex featuring the best of both vintage and modern gear. Inside, Studio D is one of the largest studios in Los Angeles, with a spacious live recording room, three isolation booths and a live echo chamber. All connected, via audio and video tie lines, to the building’s second floor. Upstairs, you’ll find administrative offices along with a 4000 square foot performance space, complete with stage and chandeliers (source – StudioExpresso).

“What you have at the Village is exceptional sound, a unique ambiance and premium experience. This is the five-star resort of recording environments,” states Ed Fassio.

Fassio would know. He manages the band "Control the Chaos" a fast-tracking, heavy metal quartet direct from THE city of exceptional experiences, Las Vegas. Formed in 2008 during their sophomore years in high-school, Control the Chaos exploded on to the west coast music scene taking no prisoners. Literally built upon show after show, in only two years CTC would evolve to be one of Sin City’s best young music acts. Their rapid-fire pace, high-impact showmanship and professionalism introduced the world to Vegas Molten Metal, their own term used to describe the group’s ability to adapt and flow into the intricate fibers of the west coast entertainment community.

After self-producing and releasing three previous compilations, the band’s fourth venture required another approach. Enter Dave Hampton, music industry veteran with direct project experience with artists such as Herbie Hancock, Prince and Marcus Miller. Dave’s introduction to CTC was established early in the group’s career through mutual relationships. As months went by, he – along with wife and engineer Lisa Hampton, watched and mentored the band’s progression.

“I became familiar with Dave’s work and his involvement with the studio while attending a music conference he hosted at the Village in 2008,” said Ed Fassio. “It was always in the back of my mind that someday the boys would be able to take their work to the next level. When Dave presented the idea to work at The Village quite honestly, it was the reality of a dream."

Control the Chaos entered into Studio D on October 1st to track and mix their next single: "Rise Again" along with a B-side cover track: "I Walked with a Zombie" from goth rockers Wednesday 13, both crowd favorites which the band introduced during their 2010 summer tour. Under the direction of Fassio, Hampton and the engineering team of Ghian “The Future” Wright and Nelson Lugo, the band emerged from the weekend’s lock-out session –mission accomplished.

“It was amazing to see the boys in full creative mode. Everything moved like a well-oiled machine and working with Nelson and The Future was extremely professional and very entertaining,” observed Angie Hyder, CTC’s assistant manager.  “I think the fans are in for a real treat because the essence and energy in that room was captured on these recordings.”

“What Jeff Greenberg delivers through the Village Studios is a full-service experience that allows for the ultimate creative environment. The sound quality is exceptional and you feel inspired, you feel relaxed. You’re welcomed from the beginning and you’re taken care of for the duration – this is an incredible recording studio!!”

The latest record is in final production and will be ready for public release by the 2010 holiday season. In addition to other channel opportunities, Control the Chaos has initial plans for world-wide, digital distribution through TuneCore (iTunes, Microsoft Zune, Napster, Rhapsody, eMusic and more).

Hold on world, Control the Chaos is erupting again and Vegas Molten Metal is gonna ooze all over the place!
