Infant Toddler Family Day Care (ITFDC), a non-profit organization providing child care resource and referral services in Northern Virginia, will be hosting a symposium on early child care education.

Oct. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- Join ITFDC and other early child care educators, parents, community colleagues to discuss critical issues in teaching children in our diverse world.  This symposium will be offering workshops on Creative Diverse Activities for Different Ages, Language Development, Cultural Competencies, Music/Child Development, American Sign Language for Use with Infants & Toddlers, and Nutrition/Childhood Obesity.

Opening Remarks:  Joel Segal of Campaign for Middle East Peace

Keynote Speaker:  Penny Gross, Fairfax County Mason District Supervisor
   
Spotlight Speaker:  Ileene Hoffman, early childcare expert, Founder and Executive Director of ITFDC
