Barnes and Noble Chooses YMCA of Coastal Georgia for Holiday Book Giveaway

Nov. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- SAVANNAH, GA –  The Savannah Barnes and Noble bookstore in the Oglethorpe Mall has once again partnered with the YMCA of Coastal Georgia for their Holiday Book Giveaway.

“We were almost overwhelmed when we received close to 3,000 books from Barnes and Noble last year,” said Audrey Rodriguez, the Outreach Director for the YMCA of Coastal Georgia.

“We currently serve over 6,000 children each day in Chatham, Liberty, Bryan and Effingham counties through our afterschool programs and new books will be welcomed here, as well as in our childcare facilities,” said Rodriguez.

Between now and January 1, 2011, Barnes and Noble makes it easy for customers to make a book donation when making their purchases at the register.
