Peter Odell Joins Team Motorkwik

Recent addition to the Motorkwik team, Peter Odell, has taken ownership of a number of Motorkwik territories which include major towns Bournemouth, Southampton, Winchester, Basingstoke, Newbury, Reading, Wokingham, Bracknell and all surrounding areas.

Peter joins Motorkwik as a franchise business manager, and is in the process of recruiting additional employees to assist him in the running of his territories.  
During a career in facilities management spanning 25 years, Peter held senior management positions with a host of international companies. This period saw Peter working with a diversity of clients, successfully managing considerable annual budgets, as well as large teams of staff.          

Peter’s departure from the world of facilities management saw him enter into the property development sector, subsequently spending 5 years in Spain. Peter returned to the UK a year ago, and since then has been looking for a business opportunity that will allow him to capitalise on his significant management skills.

Following intensive research into the franchise market, Peter eventually decided to opt for Motorkwik: ‘I wanted to manage my own business, with high earning potential. I didn’t want to develop my own products so I researched the franchise market, looking for the right product and the right company.

Peter cites locality and local knowledge as the two major factors in his selection of the aforementioned territories. For these reasons it made sense for Peter to purchase territories in and around the Hampshire area, within which he has long resided.

Peter feels confident in anticipation of starting his new business: ‘Although there has been a lot to organise, and there’s still more to do, I am very much looking forward to the new venture and can’t wait to start trading.’
