Richard Gurr Takes Motorkwik to London

Nov. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Motorkwik is pleased to announce that further franchise territories have now become operational. Recent addition to the Motorkwik team, Richard Gurr, has taken ownership of Motorkwik territories throughout the West London area.

Motorkwik is pleased to have such a colourful character on board, and Richard certainly fits that description.  Richard began his life in India, but through his engineering training, with the RAF, relocated to the UK.

Richard then opted to become a freelance designer for several years, before deciding upon another somewhat radical change of direction, this time moving into the world of sales and marketing.

Richard’s baptism of fire in this field involved a great deal of pavement pounding. Richard started off in direct sales, going door-to-door, before receiving proper training from Xerox.  Richard’s then made a transition within the sales and marketing sector, moving from office equipment to insurance, where he worked for three major insurance companies.

It was in 1992 that Richard took a decisive move, opting to start his own financial services company. Ever since then, Richard has been dedicated to helping others achieve their life ambitions.  

Richard had been looking for an investment opportunity for some time, and was intrigued by Motorkwik’s franchise proposal: ‘I was looking for something that would give me a steady, progressive income - something with a modern approach. I was impressed with the way in which Motorkwik has realised a gap in the market, and the potential to offer a range of truly unique digital marketing opportunities to the motoring industry as a whole.’

Richard is an integral part of the West London community, and so for him there was no real alternative in terms of deciding upon which territories to purchase: ‘I have been a part of West London for a very long time, and see the potential, with Motorkwik, to achieve a level of success that will keep me in the manner to which I have become accustomed.’
