Former Nevada Governor Robert List joins Kolesar & Leatham

Dec. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- LAS VEGAS – Kolesar & Leatham, a Las Vegas-based business law firm, announced that former Nevada Governor Robert List has joined the firm as a senior partner.

At Kolesar & Leatham, List will continue his work in public policy and government relations for corporate clients on the federal, state and local level, with particular emphasis on energy and natural resources.

List served as the 24th Governor of Nevada from 1979 to 1983. Prior to being elected Governor, List served as district attorney of Carson City and for eight years as Attorney General of Nevada.

Raised in Exeter, California and Northern Nevada, List received his law degree and doctoral degree in law from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.  He is licensed with the State Bar of Nevada, District of Columbia Bar, and U.S. Supreme Court.  He is a member of the American Bar Association, Nevada State Bar Association, the Society of Attorneys General Emeritus and the Past Governors' Association.

List’s business and community activities include serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors of First Asian Bank, as the Republican National Committeeman for Nevada, and as an active volunteer in Boy Scouts of America.  He and his wife, Polly, have two children, ages 14 and 16.
