West Chatham YMCA Charity Golf Tournament Raises $3,000 for Priceless Gifts

Dec. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- POOLER, GA –  The annual West Chatham YMCA Charity Golf Tournament held on December 3, 2010, raised over $3,000 for Priceless Gifts, an annual fundraising program by the YMCA of Coastal Georgia which allocates funds for youth and families to participate in programs like child care, summer camp, sports, and memberships.

Fifteen teams competed in Third Annual Charity Golf Tournament which was held at the Crosswinds Golf Course. Winners of the first place net were Kevin Giddens, Brian Underwood, Jameson Owens, and Bob Pettigrew.  Winners of the first place gross were Neal Estes, Mark Simons, Caleb Simons, and Andy Atkins.

In 2009, the West Chatham YMCA provided over $186,000 in financial assistance to Pooler and the surrounding communities.

The West Chatham YMCA is a branch of the YMCA of Coastal Georgia. Collectively, the Association provides over $2 million dollars each year in financial assistance through memberships and programs.  At the YMCA of Coastal Georgia, no family is ever turned away due to an inability to pay.
