New YMCA Branch Opens in McIntosh County - Grand Opening at Darien Outlet Mall January 15th

Jan. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- DARIEN, GA –  The YMCA of Coastal Georgia will expand their operation to Darien and McIntosh County, when they open their ninth branch on Saturday, January 15, in the Darien Outlet Mall.  

“Our day will be filled with pony rides, a moon bounce, games, a kiddie train ride, and lots of food,” said Julie Dean, Senior Program Director for the new YMCA operation.

The ribbon cutting will take place at 9:45 am, followed by tours of the new YMCA of Coastal Georgia – McIntosh branch at 10:00 am.  The facility will be open seven days a week to serve families in Darien and surrounding communities including Brunswick, Eulonia and Townsend. Child watch will be available Monday through Thursday from 4:30 - 7:00 pm and on Saturday’s from 8:00 - 11:00 am.
