New gospel music site launched for Houston gospel music listeners

Feb. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- Houston, TX– Gospel music lovers have a new way to get their news and events in Houston.  B. McCoy Productions has launched a new website, MyHoustonGOSPEL.com, for Houston, TX area gospel music artists and listeners.

“Once discovering that it is easier to find hip hop parties online, but not as easy to locate gospel events, I believed that it was time to give gospel music listeners a place where they could easily find where they could hear great music,” said Brian McCoy, MyHoustonGOSPEL.com editor.

The site features event blasts daily and has a social network presence, where artists can request their events be tweeted from live to gain exposure on the web. The website also includes gospel music news, events, interviews and videos.  

“We hope to build a relationship with radio stations, record labels and artists to make the site helpful to their listeners and supporters,” said McCoy.

After a 2-month pre-launch test period in 2010, the site increased in hits by over 500% each month.
