Beau Badrick Releases Debut CD"Dreaming Still," Released on TNA Records. Beau Badrick, Trod Nossel Artists' newest teen acquisition proves he's not your run-of-the-mill pop star with this 14-song collection.
By: Trod Nossel Artists While keeping to the dream theme of this release, Badrick closes out the record with the title track, "Dreaming Still," complete with an electronic composition that simulates the four stages of sleep. However, don't let the name fool you. This release is anything but laid back. The songs contain driving guitar rhythms and harmonies, catchy arrangements and hooks. Although, due to his age, he's been compared to such teen stars such as Justin Bieber and the Jonas Brothers, he's anything but your run-of-the-mill teen pop star. His old-school, classic rock influences, such as The Beatles, Billy Joel, Elton John, Queen and other rock legends, shows in his work. Besides blending something very current with something very classic to set him apart from his peers, Badrick is a multi-instrumentalist, playing the majority of the instruments on the recording. Drums were played by Manny Patricio (studio musician who has worked with artists such as Bernie Williams and Chyna Phillips), and guitar on No Good To Cry was done by Howard Jeffrey (The Crayons). Additional guitar was played by Cal Michaels on Weight Of My World. All other instruments were played by Badrick, himself. All recording was done at Trod Nossel Studios with Trod Nossel engineers, Rob Cavalier, Justin Watson, and Edwin Cromley. Chris Sellas and Jaqulyn Bartomioli engineered on "No Good To Cry," with various engineering assists by Michael Mullally and Jaqulyn Bartomioli, and mixed and mastered by Ian Mereness (Whitney Houston, R. Kelly, Michael Jackson #1's, Pussycat Dolls, Snoop Dog, Sony, Jive, Interscope). Badrick was discovered by his management company late summer 2010 and was signed to a multiple rights deal. They immediately got to work on the record. The CD hit the airwaves today, and will be available on most online resources and retail stores. Tour dates such as a spring tour, Mohegan Sun Casino concert in March, and various other performance dates and appearances are in the works for the summer.
