$1 Dollar Download of Rare Film

April 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Surprises continue to surface from the past from time to time. This week take hidden secrets revealed such as a preserved WW2 bomber in the English Channel, or the Roswell FBI Memo document for example. Consider then cases regarding rare Films, in this case a feature Film which was produced during the 1980s yet never saw distribution. 'Saga of a Crew' is an example of such a scenario. There have been a few previous writings regarding this Film as well as an Official Website:  www.sagaofacrew.com  which goes deeply into the whys, wheres and hows of the hybrid production which has slowly transformed into something of a Science Fiction enigma within the entertainment world and this writer won't include any spoilers here.
According to the Film's Producer Daniel R. Christopher "part of the fun of s.o.a.c. is in the discovery, then analyzing the Film's many shall we say 'financially challenged aspects' then hopefully the viewer makes a full recovery!" With that you can see that Christopher pulls no punches regarding the Science Fiction feature's low budget nature, or the fact that the entire production (around $13k) probably costs less than a single days catering for any current mainstream Film produced today. Even so, for lovers of classic Science Fiction there's plenty to enjoy, like the interesting 1980s futuristic design concepts and special effects, a good plot, keenly balanced with some shoddy set construction and a cast of (still to this day) unknowns. At only $1 a download or $11.95 for the DVD (both are available at the Official Website) it is affordable fun.
