The National Society of Collegiate Scholars Announces Launch of New Blog, TalkNerdy2Me

April 18, 2011 - PRLog -- The National Society of Collegiate Scholars is thrilled to announce the launch of their new blog – Talknerdy2me http://www.talknerdy2me.org/ a blog about college life as college students see it.

The blog's content will focus on all things related to college life such as scholarships, tuition, dorm life, how to use social media effectively and much, much more.

The blog is written by NSCS member contributors, various experts and the NSCS national staff. Guest submissions are welcome from members, non-members, experts, campus newspapers and campus officials. Send submissions to talknerdy2me@nscs.org

“We had such a blast putting this blog together,” said Stephanie Sanata, Coordinator, Program Marketing. “We have really great discussions in the office and are very passionate about higher education and the things that affect our members. So much so that we wanted to create this blog to expand the flow of information and bring our members into the conversation.”

The blog officially launched on March 30 and has already enjoyed some heavy traffic. The most popular blog post being SXSW: A Rock ‘n Roll Spring Break about a University of Texas member’s trip to South by Southwest for spring break.

Users may subscribe to Talknerdy2me for free using their RSS feed. In addition, blog posts are shared via the National Society of Collegiate Scholars Twitter @NSCS and Facebook posts.
