PODS Rocks the River, provides portable storage for organizers at two events in Reno this May

April 20, 2011 - PRLog -- (RENO, Nev.) – While it may seem strange to find a PODS® storage container at a marathon event or festival when it is commonly found parked in the driveway of a homeowner instead, do not be surprised. PODS® has been active in the local community since opening its Reno franchise in 2004, donating services and logistics to help promote the missions of various organizations.

Two upcoming activities in Reno are no exception. At the Rock-n-River Marathon on May 1, PODS® storage containers will provide respite from the sun for athletes, store supplies and water and serve as mini check-ins along the marathon route.

The following week, May 6-9, PODS will provide logistics or personnel, onsite storage of sporting equipment and supplies and courtesy services at the Reno River Festival.
