RE/MAX Metro Chicago Real Estate Network's Balloon to Visit Roslyn Road School in Barrington May 11

April 21, 2011 - PRLog -- The RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon will visit Roslyn Road Elementary School, 224 Roslyn Road, in Barrington, Ill., on May 11, where the balloon crew will present an interactive educational program developed and sponsored by the RE/MAX metro Chicago real estate network.

In the audience will be the 450 students at Roslyn Road School, who will learn about various aspects of ballooning, including its history and the scientific principles involved, and they will see a demonstration on how the balloon functions.  The RE/MAX balloon and its crew are expected to make nearly 100 presentations this year in northern Illinois.

The program will be presented twice in the school gymnasium, at 9:15 and 10:15 a.m.  The 75-foot-tall balloon envelope will be inflated with cold air, permitting students to walk inside it.  The presentations then will conclude outdoors with a demonstration of how the balloon basket and burners operate.
