New Appointment to WA Optimum Health Care Cosmetic Department

April 29, 2011 - PRLog -- WA is proud to announce Dr Sheena Burnell as the Director of Aesthetic Services for their Shanghai Center of Excellence. Dr Burnell is an Australian-trained anaesthesiologist with 25 years’ experience.

She completed her medical degree and specialist qualification in Brisbane, Australia and worked in a number of locations around Australia for many years where she was involved in all aspects of anaesthesia, pain medicine, intensive care and emergency medicine. In this time she developed an interest in anaesthesia for plastic and cosmetic surgery and day case surgery and remains a member of these special-interest anaesthesiology groups in Australia. In recent years Dr Burnell has expanded her practice to include cosmetic medicine and subsequently completed advanced training in a wide range of aesthetic medicine techniques including the use of Botox, dermal fillers and lasers.

Dr Burnell has lived in Shanghai for several years and her current medical interests include anaesthesia for cosmetic surgery, facial rejuvenation using advanced techniques, and pain management.,
