All Booked Up Launch Event for The Rusty Bucket Kids: A Behind-the-Scenes Look

May 11, 2011 - PRLog -- The Rusty Bucket Kids:  A Behind-the-Scenes Look at 'Lincoln, Journey to 16' (Peak City Publishing, May, 2011) is written by twelve-year-old Roxanna Demers who stars beside her little brother, JohnColeman, in the historically accurate time travel series:  The Rusty Bucket Kids:  ‘Lincoln, Journey to 16’.  All Booked Up hosted the first event to introduce the book to the town of Apex, NC, whose namesake "Peak City" was the stage for the movie.

Thousands of people attend the annual event which takes place during the first Saturday of May.  Fans of the cast and crew were greeted by stars:  Roxanna Demers, JohnColeman Demers, Scott Andrew Taylor, who played the16-year-old Abraham Lincoln in the movie and RT (Bob)  Crowley, the Peak City's busy body named Miss Tuttle.

The book was created to share Roxanna’s memories of making a motion picture.  It offers both entertainment and educational value for children and teens.  Packed with photographs, portraits and interviews of the cast and crew, readers experience what it’s like to be in front of and behind the camera.  The premiere episode of The Rusty Bucket Kids is based on the life and challenges of Abraham Lincoln as a teenager.
