May 27, 2011 - PRLog -- According to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), “More cases of Lyme disease are reported than any other vector-borne disease in the United States.” They further stated that “Lyme disease is one of the most rapidly emerging infectious diseases in North America and Europe. In 2009, nearly 30,000 confirmed and more than 8,500 probable cases of Lyme disease were reported.”
