Celebrity Purple Carpet Event on Friday, July 29 at LOVE Nightclub in Washington, DC

(Washington, DC) – Over 100,000 members of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. better known as the Que's invade the Nation's Capital July 27-31 to celebrate their 100th year as a fraternity. The Centennial celebration’s celebrity purple carpet Sports & Entertainment after party is from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Friday, July 29 at Love Nightclub. The event will be hosted by  BET’s 106th & Park with performances by some of Def Jam Recordings’ hottest artists, including Ace Hood and “The Atomic DOG” himself.  Love will also host a Happy Hour from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a live performance by Secret Society, $5 drinks and light hors d'oeuvres.

“We have invited notable Omegas such as, Rickey Smiley; Steve Harvey; Shaquille O'Neil; Tom Joyner; Andrew Ray, Grand Basileus; Jessie Jackson and Thomas Lytle, Vice President of Def Jam Recordings, of which are all fraternity brothers,” said event Promoter Marty Wynn of Wynn Entertainment, Inc. "We are determined to give the fraternity a well-deserved celebration at Love Nightclub as they enter into their 100th year.”
