The Taste of Chicago takes place in Grant Park, Downtown Chicago from June 24th-July 3rd.  It is open from 11 a.m-8:30 p.m., except for closing day when it ends at 6:00 p.m.


Food Assortments & Prices

The Taste of Chicago boasts the widest assortment of the best food the city has to offer: pizza, hot dogs, ice cream, cheese cake, Mexican,  Chinese, Caribbean, Greek, Middle Eastern, and more.  From a city with as much diversity as Chicago, Taste-goers can definitely expect just as diverse cuisine options at the Taste of Chicago booths.  Each vendor offers six different options of their specialties.

Admission to the Taste of Chicago is free, so food & beverages can be purchased with tickets that are sold for $8 for a strip of 12 tickets.   Vendors also offer the option of “Taste Of” portions that are smaller for less tickets.  That way you can sample more varieties of food without eating or paying as much.



Taste of Chicago Activities

MUSIC- A great part of the Taste of Chicago is the ongoing musical acts that perform every day of the festival.  Latin, Gospel, Celtic, and Country music acts can all be heard from the Petrillo Music Shell theater.

KIDS ACTIVITIES- Families and children of all ages will enjoy the acrobatic performances and playground at the Family Pavilion, or the craft stations, face painting, and other hands-on activities at the Family Village.
