K.Tek Systems Inc. Celebrated as a Top 10 Small Business in Tampa Bay by Business Leader Media

July 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Clearwater, Fla. – K.Tek Systems Inc. received the honorable distinctions at a recent award ceremony that took place at the Tampa Palms Golf and Country Club on June 22nd. K.Tek CEO Kimberly During, along with Web Technology Consultant, Joe Muscolina represented the company at the award ceremony honoring each of the Tampa finalists. Similar events were held to recognize the other selected Southern businesses in Atlanta, Nashville, Memphis, Miami, Jacksonville, Raleigh, Greensboro and Charlotte.

Each spring and for the past twenty years, Business Leader Media has called for nominations by businesses and individuals across various industries seeking to be ranked as a Top Small Business of the South, for their particular region. Competition amongst the nominees was especially fierce this year as each diverse business from the nine separate Southern markets was ranked against each other for the coveted title as the Number 1 Top Small Business of the South.  Three-hundred different companies across varied industries vied for their ranking based on a combination of factors including financial performance, civic involvement and business achievement.

These accolades recognized K.Tek Systems Inc. by ranking the eighteen year-old veteran Internet company as number eight out of over twenty companies honored in the Tampa market. Additionally, K.Tek Systems was also acknowledged with an overall ranking of number sixty-four amongst the Top 300 Businesses of the South.  Winners were chosen based on various criteria involving Revenue Growth, the percentage of sales generated from within their local markets, and contributions to the community.
