Standox is the winner of the “Automotive Brand Contest 2011”

Aug. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- Standox is the winner of the “Automotive Brand Contest 2011” for its current “The Art of Color” image campaign ( http://www.standox.com/abc ). This year’s “Automotive Brand Contest” or abc award has just been announced by the German Design Council, in its first international brand and design contest for the automotive sector.

The German Design Council is one of the world’s leading centres for communication and knowledge transfer in design. Its “abc award” recognises excellence in automotive brand management, brand communication and design. Scoring a win in this competitive arena is a major achievement for the Standox brand. Sigurd Nehring, the man in charge of brand communication and corporate design at Standox, is particularly pleased with the accolade won in the “Campaign” section of the award. Nehring says: “When we set out to devise this campaign, we wanted to create something new and unique which would clearly differentiate us from the competition while at the same time conveying well-known Standox values and attributes. We have succeeded in doing so and this award gives us a strong incentive to continue along this path.”

The image campaign was developed and executed to perfection by Wuppertal-based agency Lutz Menze Design. The award will be presented on September 13 at the “Automotive Designers’ Night” during Frankfurt’s IAA, the world’s leading automotive fair. As an “abc award” winner, Standox is automatically nominated for the “German Design Award 2012”.
