Dr. Egesta Mani, MD, Internist Joins The Westchester Medical Practice

Aug. 10, 2011 - PRLog -- Egesta Mani, MD, has joined The Westchester Medical Practice and is currently seeing patients at WMP’s Yorktown offices.

Dr. Mani is a board certified internist, who is fluent in four languages including Spanish. She graduated with honors from the Tirana University Medical School in Albania. After Medical School, Dr. Mani did research at the Weill Cornell Medical College on Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura, a blood condition which causes patients to suffer from low platelet counts and increased bruising.

“Working with The Westchester Medical Practice gives me the opportunity to give my patients the personalized attention they deserve,’’ said Dr. Mani. “I like to take time with my patients and give them full explanations in a simple way they can understand so we can work together towards improving their health.’’

Dr. Mani completed her Internal Medicine training at Lincoln Hospital, an affiliate of the Weill Cornell Medical College. In addition to English, she speaks three languages: Albanian, Italian, and Spanish. Dr. Mani lives in Briarcliff Manor with her husband, Dr Neritan Mani, the Medical Director of The WMP Hospitalist Group at Hudson Valley Hospital Center, and their two children.
