Narconon Freedom Center Takes Drug Prevention Education To County Fair

Aug. 31, 2011 - PRLog -- Albion, MI - Narconon Freedom Center takes Drug Prevention Education to the county fair talking to people of all ages about the 10 myths of drugs and quizzing them on these points, as covered in the booklet “10 Things Your Friends May Not Know About Drugs”.  They also handed out these booklets and other “Truth About Drugs” material, as well as DVDs and T-shirts.

The “10 Things Your Friends May Not Know About Drugs” booklet covers such myths as: most drugs can’t hurt your mind, alcohol isn’t a drug, Ecstasy is safer than other drugs, drugs stay in the body for only a short time and more.

“It’s so rewarding to talk to people one on one, especially the young people, and to do the 10 myths quiz with them.  As we go over the answers and the true information you can see a spark of recognition about how dangerous drug really are come into their eyes.
