College Football Free Picks at SBR Forum - Week 3

Sept. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- San Jose, Costa Rica –Football betting odds authority SBRforum.com has released its week 3 college football picks, available in the NCAAF picks dedicated section. Boise State vs Toledo tonight at 8:00pm ET
Based on our football handicapper, John Ryan from  John Ryan Sports, Boise state will win this game by 20 or more points. The major sportsbooks do show a public support of the Toledo team and it is based solely on their big time performance last week at Ohio State. However, the bigger bettors are playing Boise by a modest 55% to 45% margin of bets. So, only slight support from this handicapping component on Boise State.

Temple vs Penn State at 12:00pm ET
In a rare situation, the public betting that I track at several sportsbooks shows 63% of bets being placed on Penn State. Despite this majority opinion the line has decreased a significant 2 1/2 points. This phenomenon clearly points out that it is the big bettor, the so-called Wise Guy bets, that are moving the line and they are on Temple. This fact is certainly worth to continue tracking till game time and if it continues it points to a bet on Temple and possibly one on the money line. This is only one facet of many parts of my complete research before making a play so more needs to be learned before a play on Temple would be validated.

Auburn vs Clemson at 12:00pm ET
John Ryan's proprietary sports handicapping database and simulator show a high probability that Auburn will win this game by four or more points. I can remember in the 1990’s it was very difficult for any team to go into ‘Death Valley’ but that stigma has long since been removed. Don’t get me wrong though as any home ACC venue is a difficult spot for any team to enter and come away with a win.  

]Michigan State vs Notre Dame at 3:30pm ET
Taking MSU and a +190 money line is an attractive college football betting option. There is a very high probability that if MSU covers the spread they will have also won the game. The simulator shows a high probability that MSU will score between 22 and 28 points in this game. Notre Dame is 0-5 losing a whopping 16.2 units per one unit wagered when allowing 22 to 28 points in game over the past three seasons.

]Nebraska vs Washington  at 3:30pm ET
In their third meeting in less than a year, the Washington Huskies and Nebraska Cornhuskers are set to battle once again. Most of the betting action has been in favor of Nebraska, but I believe that the better value lies with the Huskies. Only a light lean supporting the graded play on Washington as 60% of all college football betting action is being made on the Nebraska Cornhuskers. In a bit of a rare situation the line is moving slightly lower despite the majority of bets being made on Nebraska.  John's proprietary sports handicapping database and simulator shows a high probability that Washington will lose this game by fewer than 17 points.
