Follow on Google News | ![]() Page Private School’s Student Council Throws Local Book DrivePage Private School’s student council is partnering with BookEnds, a nonprofit organization to host a book drive to help students in schools and youth organizations in critical need of books.
By: Hana Hong “We are setting a goal of 1,500 books,” says Nishanth Muthusamy, 8th-grade Student Council president. “We have a responsibility to give back to our community; we are lucky for what we have and need to give back to those less fortunate.” Page Private School’s book drive will take place from October 10th-14th. Collection bins will be located in the front of the school, located at 565 N. Larchmont Blvd in Los Angeles. Anyone interested in donating books can stop by the school to place their donations in the collection bins. All donated books will help promote literacy and a love for reading in children who live in the Los Angeles area. For more information on the book drive please call (323) 463-5118.
