By: Unity of Boston Daily Word offers inspiration and practical teachings to help people of all faiths live healthy, prosperous and meaningful lives. Daily Word magazine includes two months of daily affirmative messages, feature articles and spiritual poetry. Subscriptions are available for print editions (regular size, large type or Spanish) as well as the new online edition with audio — Daily Word Digital Magazine. As the quote below suggests, subscribers of Daily Word magazine feel blessed to have the positive guidance each day: “My Daily Word has helped me through many times. Every time I need it, the magazine will have a wonderful message on healing or comfort that revives my strength and teaches me to live in faith and not in fear. Thank you for always being there when I need you.” The Daily Word was officially launched in 1924 and included daily messages of hope, spiritual poetry and feature articles—all primarily written by Frank B. Whitney. The Daily Word began with a subscription list of 16,000 people, but within a year the list had grown to 43,000. Today Daily Word is mailed to approximately 600,000 subscribers in more than 150 countries, and is translated into seven languages. In the Metro-Boston area there are thousands of Daily Word subscribers but most are unaware that there is a Unity center where they can meet with like-minded spiritual thinkers to discuss the upcoming daily affirmations. The spiritual leader of Unity Boston, Rev. Evrol, says that the Daily Word Group meets each Sunday at 10:00 AM for a 1-hour session. Each of the readings and affirmations for the upcoming week is discussed. Examples of ways to apply them in your personal life are also suggested. All are welcome to experience God’s love and divine power within themselves. A long-time attendee Owen said the Sunday morning group meeting is a great way for Daily Word readers to get together regardless of denominational preferences. A celebration service follows in the main sanctuary at 11:00 AM for those who wish to experience a Unity Interdenominational Celebration Service. Unity Boston celebrates the divinity of God in everyone. They welcome all people to experience God’s love and divine power within themselves. You will find inner peace, the joy of unconditional love, and the incentive to become all that God created you to be, at Unity Boston.
