CYCLING POSTER designed by Jude Lobe, for Fine Art Carolina Gallery

Oct. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Fine Art Carolina Gallery recently opened their doors in historic downtown Mebane, NC. For the occasion of the cyclists coming through Mebane and spending the night on their way from the mountains to the coast, they decided to design a poster in honor of the cyclists. The cyclists were camping at the Mebane Arts & Community Center. The gallery gave the center a signed poster to raffle off. All the proceeds would be donated to the Mebane Arts and Community Center.  

The gallery also gave posters to all the volunteers of the event. Posters can be seen and purchased at the gallery as well as other bicycling artworks by other artists of Fine Art Carolina Gallery, including Ali Givens' fiber art work of a bicycle and bluebirds, Pat Schieble's  painting of cyclists cycling on a road through a rural community and Pam Watt's watercolor of a bicycle with a basket of flowers.

The cycling poster was the first community oriented project for the gallery, having just opened the doors October 1st. There are several other community driven events scheduled for the coming 12 months.
