Oct. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- The Latino Entrepreneurial Network (LEN) of SE WI recently hosted a Corporate Business Fair on September 15, at the Multicultural Entrepreneurial Institute (MEI) in Milwaukee, that helped over 25 Wisconsin entrepreneurs learn about tangible business opportunities.  Speakers from US Bank, Sam's Club, and Prudential were present to help educate these thriving business owners.  The Wisconsin Supplier Council also shared excellent insights in how to become a certified minority owned enterprises as well as the benefits of such certification.

One of the primary focuses of this fair was to help Wisconsin entrepreneurs learn how to effectively connect with area corporations and learn about how to do business with them.  "In a lean economy entrepreneurs must explore all avenues for business development and diversification. The corporate sector continues to be a good source of opportunities yet entrepreneurs must learn how to effectively tap it". stated Nelson Soler, LEN Founding Executive Director and owner of the Multicultural Entrepreneurial Institute (MEI).

The Latino Entrepreneurial Network (LEN) of SE Wisconsin has been leading the way for training for businesses in Wisconsin and provides event in both English and Spanish to help our local emerging markets grow.  LEN was also recently recognized by the United Stated Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) for the first ever bilingual Green Business Initiative in the Midwest and was selected as the UHSCC’s 2010 Small Chamber of the Year.
