Thomas Daubney Named Senior Sales Manager For DoubleTree by Hilton Tarrytown

Tarrytown, NY (November 2011)  Thomas  A. Daubney has been named senior sales manager for the DoubleTree by Hilton Tarrytown.

Previously, Mr. Daubney served as sports, tour and travel and education sales manager for Crowne Plaza Albany Hotel, a position he held since 2004.  He was named “Sales Manager of the Year” and was a five-time member of the Lodgian “Million Dollar Club.”

From 1997 to 2004, he served as corporate, education and sports sales manager for Albany Marriot. For his outstanding sales performance, he was twice the recipient of the Marriott International “Chairman’s Circle Award”, winner of the Marriott’s “Pinnacle” Award and was also twice named “Manager of the Quarter.”

A resident of Waterford, NY, Mr. Daubney’s main responsibility in his new role is to market the DoubleTree by Hilton-Tarrytown conference facilities to the association market in the Albany area and bring new regional conferences to the Tarrytown area.

Active in business and civic organizations, Mr. Daubney is Vice President of the Sports Foundation of the Capital Region and has served as Chairman of the Crowne Plaza “Holiday Charity Drive” Committee and is a member of the Saint Mary’s of Crescent Church Men’s Group and the “Albany Team” Tournament Planning Committee.

Set on 11 acres of landscaped grounds in the heart of the Hudson Valley, the DoubleTree by HiltonTarrytown offers 247 guest rooms, and the largest Grand Ballroom in Westchester, with 10,000 square feet of space.  A total of 24,000 square feet of meeting and pre-function space also includes another ballroom and 17 meeting rooms.  In addition, the hotel offers a complimentary business center, spa, indoor pool, sauna, fitness center, Bistro Z restaurant.
