Follow on Google News | Vogue creates re-cycled stand for re-cycled Eko!Vogue International which recently launched the unique 100% bio-degradable Eko housewares range made from recycled bamboo fibres has created a 100% recycled 'pallet stand' on which to display them!
By: Mick Thompson The stands are hand-made by Leon Jordan, a local man from Berinsfield, Oxfordshire, which is home to Vogue’s Business Park. Leon has worked for Vogue for over 12 years, and was instrumental in helping with the building during the development of the company’s Tower Road HQ back in 1996. He carries out general building work and maintenance, and also assists with the construction and erection of the Vogue exhibition stands. His latest project, the Eko ‘recycled pallet’ display stands, shows just how talented he is. Comments David Pannett, Vogue’s UK Sales Manager, “The recycled display stand was originally Leon’s idea and started off as a bit of fun. “However it really does reinforce the Eko message of sustainability and bio-degradability and the products look fantastic on the display stand. “If any outward-thinking retailers are interested in this brand new concept, then we would be more than happy to supply them with what is surely the greenest display stand the retail industry has ever seen." The Eko collection is comprised of a large and small plate, cereal/soup bowl and a tumbler. They come in four colours: Natural, Cloudy Blue, Pistachio Green and Fuchsia. Retail price guide for the Eko range are as follows: Bowl - £2.99, tumbler - £2.99, side plate - £3.99 and dinner plate - £4.99. Visit www.ekoearthproducts.com. End
