Team Forsthofgut Campus – Investing in Staff Wellbeing

LEOGANG, Austria - Feb. 26, 2024 - PRLog -- Austria's leading 5* family resort, Naturhotel Forsthofgut (www.forsthofgut.at) in Leogang near Salzburg, has invested over £12.5 million into improving staff working conditions and creating Team Forsthofgut Campus, a multi-purpose communal space of 1300m² where theycan relax, work and socialise.

The first of its kind, it operates a 100% regenerative energy system. This latest innovation joinsa number of Forsthofgut firsts such as the launch of daily vegan options for ½-board guests.

'Our staff use it much as a student might use a university campus,' said owner Christoph Schmuck: 'for study, relaxation and fun.' Adding: 'at Team Forsthofgut Campus we turn work into pleasure, food into nourishment, time into happiness and team into family.'

Flexible meeting rooms, luxury changing facilities, relaxation and chill-out zones aside, there is a staff restaurant (seats 90), buffet counter, bar, vending machines, table tennis, pool tables, games, a large kitchen where staff store food and cook and a dedicated outdoor area.

Five themes – learning, wellbeing, socialising, eating, living – support the team's professional and personal growth. Regular training sessions, workshops, sport, meals and time in the fresh air are combined with a programme of social events from cooking classes, TV and film evenings to inter-department tournaments help the team to balance work with play.
