Nov. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- The timing couldn't have been better for ASPCA to once again support Zuma's Rescue Ranch. Zuma's had recently rescued five new horses and desperately needed help building new shelters for them. Zuma's Rescue Ranch of Littleton Colorado has turned their once AAA Horse show facility into a Respite Care Facility for Horses in need.

The beautiful 146-acre property just South West of Denver off of Hwy. 85 has plenty of space to place horses in need, but required a little help from the ASPCA to complete two new shelters and watering systems for the latest rescues.

ASPCA has grown the Equine funding program with the help from a steadfast leader Jacque Schultz. This growth is much needed in the equine world as more and more breeders continue to flood the horse market beyond its brim.

Zuma's Rescue Ranch provides a safe place for these horses in need and also offers a unique child and family therapeutic opportunity to learn and heal through the eyes and ways of equus. The story of the horse suffering abuse and neglect often times mirrors the stories of many children and families of our community.

Zuma's has teamed up with ASPCA to help with the horse rescue side of Zuma's and Metro State University, Naropa University and other universities on the therapy side of Zuma's to serve the mutual needs of both animals and humans. The effective placement of animals in a therapeutic setting is an exciting field that is worthy of recognition. Here at Zuma's when humans are paired with horses or other therapy partners available here like chickens, ducks, pigs and, dogs, we see rapid progress toward healing.

The Animal Human Bond is an undeniably effective means of therapy for both our children and our adults, if you are looking for a new approach to old problems such as;
anger management, depression, attachment issues, autism, behavioral problems, relationships, communication, and so many more psychological difficulties. Give animal therapy a try at Zuma's Rescue Ranch.

If you are looking to improve the communication within your business, give our effective communication programs a try. We offer corporate retreats and team building activities out on the picturesque ranch as well. Call for details

Please consider supporting ASPCA and Zuma's, for without the non-profit sector, so many in need would go un fulfilled. It is the non-profit sector that fills in the gaps for the less fortunate and voiceless members of our world. Pitch in and do your part to help.
