By: Stephanie Murray In the first of a series of seasonal events at McArthurGlen East Midlands, the Lost Santa Hats Project will see a Santa hat hidden each day for ten days in an unusual place across the region for shoppers to find. Following daily clues leaked on the McArthurGlen East Midlands Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ As well as a personal appearance from Santa, this year, the switch on event at McArthurGlen East Midlands will include live musical performances from local bands and choirs, including the Tideswell Male Voice Choir and a children’s choir from Blackwell School. Santa will arrive at 4pm atop a present-laden sleigh pulled by real reindeer, before doing a parade of the centre, meeting families and offering gifts to those who have been good this year. On the day, winners of the Lost Santa Hats Project will have the chance to meet Father Christmas himself and be rewarded with a £50 gift card in return for their hat to spend on Christmas gifts and festive fashion at McArthurGlen East Midlands, where premium and high street brands are available at up to 60% less all year round. With the Christmas lights aglow, on 26-27th November a gospel choir will be filling the air at McArthurGlen East Midlands with a repertoire of Christmas carols while shoppers pick up perfect presents and party wear. During the festive period shoppers will also have the chance to win one of twelve great designer prizes in the Twelve Days of Christmas competition on McArthurGlen’ In the final rush before Christmas Day, McArthurGlen East Midlands will host a Santa Dash for speedy Saint Nicks on Sunday 18th December to raise money for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice. For just £10 (and £5 for children), not only can you dress as the festive Saint, but also be contributing to the running costs of the charity, which offers care and support to children and young adults with a shortened life expectancy.
