Heywood Hospital’s Tina Griffin, DNP, FNP-C Earns Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree

Jan. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Gardner, MA –  Heywood Hospital’s Tina Griffin, DNP, FNP-C, recently earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from University of Miami at Coral Gables, achieving the highest educational level bestowed in the nursing profession. A resident of Gardner, Griffin first earned her associates degree in nursing at Mount Wachusett Community College, then went on to complete both her B.S. and M.S. degrees in nursing from University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Despite her busy life and career, she achieved the highest degree in nursing and is a shining example of the growth, opportunity and rewards that can be achieved in the nursing profession.”

As Director of Oncology/Ambulatory Clinics at Heywood Hospital for the past 14 years, Griffin leads the oncology service line growth and operations, collaborates with physicians on treatment planning and implementation for oncology patients, is a direct care provider and manages the specialty clinics.
