Growth in Healthcare through Hospitals and Clinics

Feb. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Ironside Human Resources a healthcare staffing firm announced today that in the first month of 2012 demand for full time hiring has increased by 27% over the past three months. Demand has been strong at the director level and senior management level.  Ironside has also seen a strong demand for physical therapists and nurse practitioners.  "Technology has played a major role in our interviewing process and streamlining the process for both candidates and clients" said Doug Carter, CEO of Ironside Human Resources.  Ironside has been using Facetime with its candidates and clients for initial interviews.  It has given both parties a better feeling of what they may be going into before going on-site for the interview.  

Ironside said its hospital clients have also seen an increase in census that has started to push demand for providers.  Doug Carter also stated that placements and interviews for providers has doubled over the last month as compared to the previous quarter.  Hospitals and clinics were slow to hire last quarter due to low census and uncertainity of the state of the financial well being of most hospitals.  Hiring over the last six weeks has picked up and hospital executives are pulling the trigger on hiring the professionals they need.
