Biamp Systems Expands Applications Engineering Team With Addition of D’souza, Gray and Lynch

Feb. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- – BEAVERTON, OREGON – As part of its ongoing effort to expand its global support, Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, today announced that the company is further developing its Applications Engineering Department with the addition of three new Applications Engineers: Roydon D’souza, located in Mumbai; Matt Gray, located at the company’s Oregon headquarters; and Dan Lynch, located in South Carolina. These new engineers will report to Kiley Henner, Education and Applications Manager, for Biamp Systems. Each will be responsible for assisting with technical support tasks including product selection, pre-system and post-system design and in-the-field support, as well as providing hands-on instruction at Biamp product trainings.

D’souza brings 20 years of experience in the audio-visual (AV) and engineering industries to Biamp Systems. He joins the company as an Applications Engineer after functioning as a freelance engineer, serving as Technical Manager at Innovative Systems and Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Assistant Manager of Engineering Services at R&S Electronics Pvt. Ltd., and Installation and Service Engineer at Aural Logic and P.A.C.E.

Before joining Biamp as an Applications Engineer, Gray served as Hardware Engineering Manager at Innovative Electronic Designs, where he was responsible for leading electronic, embedded software and mechanical engineering staff to develop requirements for, and designed, implemented and profitably produced computer controlled commercial audio system products.  Prior to this, Gray served as Applications Engineer at Innovative Electronic Designs where he was responsible for providing design services, sales support, project management, integration and technical support for highly customized commercial audio and life-safety systems.

Prior to Biamp, Lynch served as an Applications Engineer at BSS Audio, a division of Harman International. In this role he provided audio DSP design assistance to integrators, sales managers and distributors, and led a customer-training program both online and live. Lynch’s experience prior to BSS includes positions such as Director of Engineering at Electromedia of Colorado, Owner of Lazer Tone Productions, Front of House and Monitor Engineer at RDT Productions, and Technical Director at both Iowa Repertory Theatre and The Maintenance Shop.
