Chandler Center for the Arts Teams Up with Local Restaurants for “Eat Your Art Out” Fundraiser

Feb. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- CHANDLER, AZ – [February 24, 2012] – Local residents and employees can dine out for a cause with Eat Your Art Out Chandler, an all-day event conceived and soon to be executed by Chandler Center for the Arts.  The February 28th fundraiser combines efforts of community arts enthusiasts, corporate sponsors and local eateries in support of various programs at the Center, including the Free Summer Concert Series, headline entertainment and the Connecting Kidz initiatives.  

Restaurants participating in Eat Your Art Out will contribute to the funding of programs at Chandler Center for the Arts through donating a percentage of their proceeds on Tuesday the 28th directly to the Center.  Families, friends and workers in the area complete the puzzle simply by eating breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner at any of the participating locations.  

Essentially, anyone in the Valley can show support of the arts just by choosing to grab breakfast at D’Vine Gourmet, stopping for lunch at Pittsburgh Willy’s and enjoying dinner at Bernard’s at Ocotillo Golf Resort.  

A total of 17 of Chandler’s favorite eateries have signed up with Eat Your Art Out Chandler, including Chandler BBQ, Irish Republic Public House, SanTan Brewing Co., Serrano’s Mexican Food Restaurant, Venezia’s Pizzeria and Latitude 8.  

“We’ve received a tremendous amount of support from so many restaurants here in the Valley, and without any hesitation.  Donating 25-50% of the day’s proceeds to our programs is huge to us here at Chandler Center for the Arts and we couldn’t be more appreciative,” says Katrina Pappas, General Manager at the Center.  “We’re looking forward to a great event with our very first Eat Your Art Out.”
