Follow on Google News | Corydon Nonprofit plans Tornado Relief FundraisersClean Socks Hope, the Corydon (IN) nonprofit known for its unique and mobile fundraisers has scheduled two Tornado Relief Bake Sale & Grill Outs to benefit the March 2, 2012 tornado victims in southern Indiana.
By: Jeff Minton "100% of the funds raised will be donated to the Tornado Relief Fund set up by Northside Christian Church," Chairperson Jeff Minton said. "We are honored to be a part of those efforts is some small way." Samaritan's Purse, the Billy Graham Association organization known for its Christmas Shoebox program has about 50 volunteers living and working out of the Northside main campus. The International Christian relief and evangelism organization provides spiritual and physical aid to victims of war, poverty, natural disaster, and disease. The dates for the fundraisers are Friday March 23, 2012 at Oaklawn Health & Rehab, 300 Shelby Station Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40245 and Friday April 6, 2012, at PCA Pharmacy also in Louisville. The group is looking for a southern Indiana location for a possible 3rd event.
