The "Budget for All" executive summary states, "Americans believe, and experts agree, that the solution to our debt and deficit woes should rely on three components: Job growth, increased revenues, and spending cuts. The Budget for All relies on all three. Government is not the panacea for the issues that we face, but it is not the singular cause of our nation's strife as some would suggest. Our budget is a plan for those that believe in a government that works for them and helps find solutions [and invests] in Job Creation Now and Lays the Foundation for the Future by focusing investments ... in targeted areas such as transportation infrastructure, domestic manufacturing, and small businesses innovation, while supporting tax credits for working families." PDA Communications Coordinator Mike Hersh said, "Failed federal leadership caused and deepened the Great Recession, perilous economic inequality, and other economic crises and reversals. The Ryan Plan would double-down on failed policies, and risk double-dip recession. The President's proposals can't and won't reverse the results from decades of failure. We need the 'Budget for All,' strong leadership and wise policies to get America moving again." "Budget for All" Letter and Action Alert at http://www.pdacommunity.org Progressive Democrats of America is a federal PAC, founded in 2004 to transform the Democratic Party and the USA. PDA seeks to build a party and government controlled by citizens--not corporate elites--with policies that serve the broad public interest, not just private interests. PDA operates inside the Democratic Party, and outside in movements for peace and justice. PDA played a key role in the stunning electoral victories of November 2006 and 2008. PDA's inside/outside strategy is guided by the belief that a lasting majority will require a revitalized Democratic Party built on firm progressive principles.
