Quiescence Music Releases New Piano Lesson: 'Morning Forest'

March 30, 2012 - PRLog -- Forests are places people go to relax, unwind, and take in nature's beauty. And pianist, composer, and online teacher Edward Weiss sees no reason why you 'can't take it with you.'

Weiss, who owns and operates Quiescence Music has just released a new piano lesson titled 'Morning Forest.’ The lesson promises to show students how to compose a piano piece in the 'new age' style.

Weiss comments:

"Nature is my biggest inspiration. I always carry paper and pen with me so when inspiration strikes, I can jot down the beginnings of a melody and flesh it out later at the piano. That's how 'Morning Forest' was created."

Weiss, no stranger to the piano himself, teaches something called ‘new age’ piano online. Soothing and relaxing, the New Age piano style has been around and growing strong since the 1980's.

Weiss explains:

“I think many adults want to be able to go to the piano, sit down, and just play what they feel. But there aren’t many (if any) courses or lessons that teach this. Once I could easily do it myself, I wanted to share this beautiful style of music with the world by teaching others how to do it as well.”

The course Weiss references now has over 1100 members and 145 lessons and, according to this New Age piano teacher, is growing strong.
