Lucas Oil Joins Position One Motorsports as Official Sponsor

April 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Officials for Position One Motorsports and Lucas Oil are excited to announce a marketing partnership agreement for 2012 and beyond. Lucas Oil will become an official product sponsor for the first-class race team and driver development program.

Also joining the Position One Motorsports team is Jason Patison. Patison will be driving his own car at various events throughout the season while the Position One team will prepare and maintain the car out of their shop. Patison's experience will also be invaluable in the growth of the Position One Motorsports driver development program.

"Position One has a great reputation for preparing first class racecars, I look forward to getting behind the wheel this season and experiencing their work first hand," Patison said.

Patison is a veteran racer who cut his racing teeth at many of of the areas race tracks. From his first career Mini-Stock start back in 1997 on dirt to racing in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series on both coasts, this California native thrives behind the wheel and behind his desk at MAVTV where he is the Programming Director.

Patison is married with two young children and when not at work or behind the wheel he is completing his MBA.

Position One Motorsports goals for 2012 will be to further develop their winning tradition and become the premier West Coast team for developing championship caliber drivers. The team currently has a fleet of three ultra-competitive Late Model cars and two equally competitive Super Late Model entries ready for competition.  A brand new Late Model is the newest addition to the rental program, along with a previous Toyota All-star Showdown winning Super Late Model entry. The team will compete at various west coast tracks in 2012 and their current schedule includes visits to The Bullring in Las Vegas, All American Speedway, Stockton 99 and Lake Havasu.

Position One Motorsports has corporate partnerships with King Taco, Lucas Oil, Eibach Springs, Ron's Rear Ends, and Jan's Towing. The team completes in Super Late Model/Late Model races throughout the Southwest region as well as provides a complete Driver Development Program for funded drivers. Giving Thanks to a Hero
"Giving Thanks to a Hero" program honors servicemen/servicewomen and their families involved in the 10-year plus war on terrorism and the enormous sacrifices many of them have had to make in order to make this country safer, the Position One Motorsports team is hoping that the program will in some small way show that we are all appreciative of their sacrifices.
