Historic Savannah Walking Tour Launches new Website

April 17, 2012 - PRLog -- SAVANNAH, GA  - Historic Savannah by Foot just launched a new website illustrating their Civil War and Colonial Savannah walking tours.

The Civil War walking history tour guided by Jack Wray, an active member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, brings Savannah’s survival to life with stories of General Hugh Mercer’s execution of the galvanized Rebels, Mayor Richard Arnold’s surrender of Savannah, and General William Hardee’s evacuation of confederate troops protecting Savannah from Sherman’s siege.

Combining the sites where movies have been filmed in the 21st century, along with the 19th century architecture and stories is part of the Colonial Savannah tour.

The Historic Savannah by Foot walking tour allows visitors to experience the beautiful 19th century streets and architecture of Savannah, as well as getting close to famous sites like the Colonial Cemetery where details are not visible on trolley tours.

Seven Waves Marketing developed the tourism related website complete with custom gallery photos, displaying spring azaleas at the peak of bloom.
