New Cars for 2013 Website Gives Way to 2014 GMC

Uriah Nazario sends us to 2014 with images of 2014 GMC Sierra, though his website is already teemed with updates for new cars for 2013.

The GMC shall sport a 301 hp 3.6L V-6 engine with 8-speed automatic transmission. On top of that, the E-assist setup may enhance mileage and horsepower. Another car that is going to make headlines in 2014 is the Chevrolet Silverado. Both this and the GMC Sierra are expected to comprise state-of-the-art, advanced technology, but the exact makeup cannot be determined yet. Designing these cars is probably still underway.
For Nazario, it is interesting how different car manufacturing companies are sending news about their future automobiles. Each of these companies claims to produce the best, most advanced, and most capable car in different categories of vehicles. That means all of them shall still cater to different types of drivers. Competition among them is but vital. According to Nazario, GMC is planning to design a version of Sierra that can rival Ford’s Raptor.

GMC has already stirred the market with its 2013 CUV models, like the 2013 GMC Acadia and Acadia Denali and the 2013 GMC Terrain and Terrain Denali. These cars are designed to be more competitive in the market. It still remains uncertain whether the design and performance of these cars are enough to make them sell at predicted price. As for the 2014 GMC, we still have to wait for two years.

Nazario issued the following statement during an interview:
“The next GMC lineup features another generation of full-size pickups. You have seen the designs of the 2013 models, and the 2014 models will mark improvements from the previous versions. As for the Sierra, its 2014 model shall sport a higher class look, with wider range of standard features. That comes with a higher price tag.”
The GMC and Chevy vehicles shall have discrete features and styles. This is just a small section in the automobile market where you see how differentiation in styling and design shall affect the competition.
