FERNDALE, NY- On Saturday, June 2, the Liberty Troop #358 showed up at 100 .Sullivan Ave to assist the Sullivan County Visitors Association with their Renaissance Project for 2012.  Ten daisies and brownies along with parents and siblings came armed with gloves, garden tools and a determination to help beautify the community they live in.  Working for over two hours, Nya, Jessica, Brooke, Ally, Alli, Aidan, Emma, James, Haley and Olivia weeded, planted, and watered the gardens around the Sullivan County Visitors Center.  Their enthusiasm and high spirits set the pace and made the job most enjoyable.

Roberta Byron-Lockwood, President/CEO stated, “The kids did a great job and worked steadily until the jobs were done.  We really appreciated their help this year.”

After the work day was done they received prizes from SCVA for a job well done.  We are looking forward to having them present when the judges come to view the project.
